What kind of personal data we collect and for what purpose


If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent information from the comment form to detect spam.

If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you might want to avoid images with EXIF metadata because they might contain your GPS location. Visitors can retrieve this information by downloading images from the site.

If you comment on our site you can have your name, email address and website saved in a cookie. This is for your convenience, so that you don’t have to fill it in again when you comment again. These cookies are stored for one year.

If you have an account on the site and log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser supports the cookie, the cookie contains no personal information and will expire when you close your browser.

When you login to your account, we also set several cookies with your login details and screen settings. The login cookie is stored for two days, the screen settings cookie is stored for a year.
